据悉，小米与清华大成立“人工智能创新研究基金” 将促进前沿科技等领域持续创新。 4月12日消息，小米捐赠清华大学仪式在北京小米科技园举行。此次捐赠，小米将在清华大学智能产业研究院（AIR）设立“小米人工智能创新研究基金”，旨在鼓励人工智能、机器人、医疗健康等前沿领域的创新科研，同时支持电子系、软件学院、自动化系、计算机系的学生实践课程建设，促进学生创新成长。小米集团创始人、董事长兼CEO雷军，小米清华校友代表，以及清华大学校长邱勇等出席捐赠仪式。
邱勇认为，大学和企业是创新的双引擎，创新是大学必须承担的使命，而企业在其中发挥的作用也不可替代。2020年，小米公益基金会首次在高校设立奖学金和助学金，并选择清华大学作为首批受益高校之一，用于支持全校品学兼优和家境困难的学生。小米也将与清华以双导师模式联合培养博士后，促进科研人才的培养与发展。（凤凰网科技讯）
